Jim was instrumental in so many projects over the years. If he saw something that needed doing, he just did it. He organised materials, labour, and provided ample supervision to get the job done. His dedication to the memory of the fallen was second to none having located and visited many of the graves of the men listed on the village memorial. It is impossible to list everything he did for this organisation; suffice to say he will be a hard act to follow!
Is a writer from Lydbrook in the Forest of Dean, where the steep valleys, industrial heritage, and ancient woodland shape much of his creative voice. His work often blends local history with a deep sense of place, drawing on the rhythms of rural life and the stories that linger in the Dean’s landscape.
